Riot Games has decided to present a replacement tournament entitled Mid-Season Cup: LPL vs LCK to replace MSI 2020 which has been awaited by the League of Legends community.

Riot Games immediately invited the top 4 teams to LPL Spring 2020 and also LCK Spring 2020. The prizes were no joke, the Mid-Season Cup tournament: LPL vs LCK has a total cash prize of 600 thousand USD or equivalent to 8.9 billion rupiah.

This tournament will be held online, where the LCK Spring 2020 team will compete in LoL Park, Seoul, South Korea. Meanwhile, the team from LPL Spring 2020 will compete in the Shanghai LPL Arena, China.

This tournament will air on May 28 to 31 and will be divided into 2 groups, namely LPL Teams and LCK Teams. The top 2 teams in the group stage will continue their journey to the playoffs.
